All About Visiting the Henry County Museum

Our five historic properties and thousands of artifacts artfully tell the story of Henry County, Missouri.

Whether visiting in person or online, you’re bound to discover something worthwhile.

The Adair Annex serves as the main entrance to our museum. Here, you will meet one of our friendly volunteer greeters, and a cheerful docent will guide you through any or all of our historic properties.

Tours

Our cheerful docents will guide you through any or all of our historic properties. It’s your choice.

Tours average between one and two hours, depending on the historic properties and exhibits you want to see.

It is best to contact us in advance to book a tour for large groups.

Museum Admission

Adair Museum Welcome Center, Anheuser-Busch Building, WW&H Exchange Building, Dogtrot Log House, and One-Room Schoolhouse.

  • Seniors 65+: $8

  • Veterans: $8

  • Students: $5

  • Children 10 & Under: Free

Dorman House Tour (sold separately, not included in museum admission)

Directions, Location, & Parking

The Henry County Museum Welcome Center is in the Adair Annex, 211 W Franklin Street, Clinton, Missouri.

The museum is easily accessible via MO-18 and S Washington Street.

Ample Free Parking is available, including parallel parking in front of the museum entrance and a parking lot directly across the street.
